A few Easter pictures

Here are a few pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses.  The weather was so bad after church (in fact, I had dashed out with the girls b/c it had finally stopped raining, but it started raining again not soon after we started taking pictures), so we'll have to get all dressed up again & take more pictures in better weather.  The raging river in the background is my parents' creek, which is normally flowing at a trickle.

A Boy & His Remote

Do all boys have an innate need to have the remote?  This one does.  He loves to have any remote.  In fact, it is what prompted him to crawl. Oh, and we're going to get the poor boy a trim soon.  It's looking far beyond cute & wavy and more like a bad old lady wig.  Will post pics of the cut.



Sydney's New Haircut

Just after Christmas Sydney decided she was in need of a new look.  When Zach & I went to visit our friends, Courtney & Brandon, we took Noah with us.  Brynley went to Awanas with Grandma J, Aunt Lisa & her kids.  This left Sydney in the careful watch of Papa, Uncle Matt N. & Uncle Matt J.  The boys had planned to watch a Batman movie, so all lights were off.  Sydney kept busy fixing Uncle Matt N.'s hair (if you knew Uncle Matt J., you'd understand why she wasn't fixing his hair...just kidding, Matt!)  My brother has very, very thick black hair that is grown out a bit, so it is perfect for fixing when there are no other girls around.  Matt J. did find her with scissors about to cut Matt N.'s hair, so he took them away.  Sometime later, Sydney got up to go potty & came back.  About 40 minutes later when the ladies returned from Awanas, Aunt Lisa came up the steps & was mortified when she saw Sydney.  Apparrently, with all the lights off, no one noticed her work. 

 She cut some uber-short bangs, ala Dumb & Dumber

 She tried her hand a layering her own hair.

At least it is just hair & will grow back quickly! It made for some good laughs.  She is embarassed about it now, but at the time insisted that her hair looked georgous.

Wow! It's 2011 and I'm already running behind. This does not bode well for me...anyway, hope to have some pictures & info up soon
